A refillable palette that’s cute as a button, features paraben- free shades for both the eyes and cheeks and donates 5% of proceeds to charity (The Xerces Society to help protect bees & the environment)? I’m sold! This little treasure packs quite a punch with its 4 shades: Honey, a “glistening golden highlighter for both eyes and cheek”, Nectar, a “flattering warm coral-pink” blush & two eyeshadows in Sky, an “eye-opening sheer blue” & Beehive, a “versatile grey beige”. Available since January 2014 this can be purchased via the Chantecaille official website (only ships to the U.S.), as well as via SpaceNK & Liberty London.
Bumped into this new range while browsing around BeautyBay today – and felt like it was something I needed to share with all of you. I personally find it terribly innovative and clever and am dying to try it out. According to the UK company that has launched these “you call all the shots” (pun intended) by totally customizing “your own personal luxury shampyou blend that perfectly matches your own personal needs”. Apparently, the way it works is this: You start by choosing a base blend fragrance (there’s 4: Bakhour, Black Pepper + Citrus, Lemon + Verbena & Rosemary + Mint), then add any two super-serum shots and… mix! For locks that need extra pampering there’s also the Crème de Concoction Conditioner (scented with Cashmere + White Lilly). The shampoo retails for £14.00 (€15.45), the conditioner for £16.00 (€22.47) and they can all be customized and ordered online via the dedicated website (or via BeautyBay, ASOS, BeautyMart and Selfridges). I think I’ll go for the Bakhour base blend with the ‘Beautiful Brunette’ & ‘Turn Up …
Marketed as a “vibrant yet natural-looking cheek colour that looks virtually powderless” these are my latest obsession. They come in four shades (Ginger Pop, Peach Pop, Berry Pop & Plum Pop), retail for $21 (or 16.26€) and are available via the official Clinique site here. For those of us who live in countries where Clinique does not deliver, there’s the option to buy via Nordstrom and/or Sephora. My personal favorite is Ginger Pop. Which shade will you be coveting?
Featuring three eyeshadow colors (pink, grass green and bronze), a deep black eyeliner, a vibrant blush and the plushest, most gorgeous packaging I’ve ever seen – this just made my official lust list. Available at Dior makeup counters everywhere – and online via my tried & trusted: Escentual & Feel Unique
Clarins Ombre Minérale 4 Couleurs (Eye Quartet Mineral Palette Long-Lasting) in 11 Forest This quad is right up my alley with satin, glitter, matte and frost mineral eyeshadows in some of my most flattering colors: khaki, brown/taupe, a green-based charcoal and a shimmery golden beige. At $42 (still need to find out the exact price on the Greek market), it places itself firmly on my “to buy next” beauty items’ list… Have any of you tried this? And if so, what did you think?
