A couple of weeks ago, I headed over to Sephora with the (very honest and very innocent) intention of buying hairspray. Then…this, somehow, happened: Above, (kinda) clockwise: Benefit ‘World Famous Neutrals’ Eye Palette & ‘The Porefessional’ Primer, L’Oreal Elnett Satin Extreme Hold Hairspray, Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara, Sephora Cotton Flower Moisturizing Hand Cream The only thing that wasn’t a complete impulse buy was the Benefit ‘Porefessional’, which I have been meaning to get for a while (and which, in my defense, was 35% off at the time). The eye palette (also at 35% off) was picked up instead of the Too Faced ‘Naked Eye’ one (which was not in stock) and has proved to be amazing and, when used with a primer, extra long-lasting. All six colors included (see below) are subtle & sultry at the same time and can easily be played down or up – for morning/ evening looks respectively. Clinique & Body Shop Haul

Going through my HTC gallery yesterday, I realized how I had all those photos of recent beauty buys ready for their relevant posts – but had yet to actually publish any of them (mainly due to the fact that I meant to try the products first…then got slightly side-tracked). It was most definitely time for some of them to ‘feel the love’, so here’s my ‘Clinique & Body Shop Haul’ (aka.Haul no.1). Earlier today, I bumped into a post by the lovely Ruth Crilly of A Model Recommends showcasing the KIKO Ultra Glossy Stylo lipstick set. Her little review led to my googling the brand (for those of you who are not yet familiar with it KIKO is an Italian based, professional makeup & skin care company), checking out other beauty blogger reviews of their products and visiting the dedicated website to check the range out for myself. BIG MISTAKE! A couple of hours later, not only am I registered with them but I have also put in a slightly obscene order – for about 80€ worth of products :O               I am now feeling guilty and over- excited, in equal measures, and cannot wait to get my hands on their package and start trying out all the new & exciting stuff I’ve got. I’m afraid I got carried away. Again… I am pretty sure the AVON lady said that being a representative was a lucrative way to fill one’s free time. Apparently, in my case, that did not really take. Oh, well. At least it is a great way to fill my beauty essentials’ (and non essentials’) quota. Here’s my latest little haul. A couple of days ago I was talking about how I should really stop obsessing over (and spending money on) make-up. Yesterday… I went on a little shopping expedition downtown and came back with these: Clockwise, from left to right: MAC Mineralize SkinFinish Natural, in Medium Essie polish (from the Winter 2013 collection), in Toggle to the Top Diorific Vernis (from the “Golden Winter” Holiday 2013 collection), in 751 Marilyn [3ml free sample of Dior Capture Totale ONE Essential Skin Boosting Super Serum] Diorific Long- Wearing True Color Lipstick (from the “Golden Winter” Holiday 2013 collection), in 042 Winter Benefit “Gimme Brow” brow- volumizing fiber gel, in Medium/Deep MAC Select Cover- Up, in NW20 I should probably thank my lucky stars that a. many of the Holiday collections haven’t yet hit the stores around here and b. Bobbi Brown is apparently only available in Athens. Both blessings in disguise, really (since otherwise, this little outing would have been far more destructive for my bank account – albeit extremely more satisfying for my inner shopaholic). Now… …
