In one of my fav collaborations of 2013, Beats by Dr. Dre partnered up with Alexander Wang for a three-piece exclusive, limited-edition collection which included the Beats Pill portable wireless speaker, the signature Beats Studio headphones, and the Urbeats earbuds (all in the designer’s signature pale gold and matte black), each with their own embossed glossy stingray case.

The Beats Studio headphones retailed at $449, the Beats Pill portable wireless speaker at $299 and the Urbeats Earbuds at $149 – and launched in mid December. Both of the products on the “lower” end of the price spectrum are already sold out on the Beats by Dr. Dre website but will, apparently (since there is a sign up availability notification feature), become available again via the Alexander Wang webshop and may also still be available in freestanding, local stores.
